- Sonic Blox: A tetris style game with a Sonic the Hedgehog theme.
- Zelda Ruppees: You play as Link on a ship. The object is to collect as many ruppees as you can without hitting the bombs.
[Arcade Style]
- Space Ace: A flash version of Space Invaders. A pretty descent game, IMO.
[Sports]
- Muay Thai: You must defeat your opponents, only using your Muay Thai skills! Fun game!
- BMX Park: This game is great. You ride around the bike park doing tricks. It's a 3D BMX game. Very, very fun...
- Tricky Duck Volleyball: A volleyball game where you star as Daffy Duck. Defeat "StoneCold", to win the volleyball match!
Sorry about having them up so late, I had tons of trouble with my FTP over the weekend. Think we have it all straightened out though. You can visit this game addition topic by going to this forum topic.

Mario Kart Source: Half-Life 2 Mod
Well folks this just looks fantastic... Developers over at MarioKartSouce.com are working on a Half-Life 2 mod which will feature one of the games we all know and love. MARIO KART! I've been looking at the page for quite some time now and I must say, I'm impressed! These people are doing a fine job of giving us the original game plus more! Now sure, some people are always going to say that it's not as good as the originals...but you never know. This may be something big for all of us to enjoy. I'm really excited about hopping on a server and playing battle mod with people around the world. Rumor has it that they may even support circuit races as well. Lots of people are getting into it, so the amount of maps available should keep us from going hungry. This is probably one of the most unique HL2 mods I've seen so far, so I will keep you updated on progress of the mod as well as when it is finally released. I plan to run a dedicated server for Mario Kart: Source, as well.

WiiWare Capped at 40mb
Well, if any of you don't know...Nintendo has started a thing called WiiWare. (here in the USA) This enables smaller production companies to put out games for the Wii without having the huge production costs that mega studios only really can handle. This will pretty much let independent developers get their games out to people without having to produce inventory and have a store front. I really like the idea of this, except I found out it's still going to be pretty darn expensive to develop. ($100k isn't cheap...to me) Regardless, it's still good for the video game community.
Now, here's the part I don't like. Nintendo went ahead and put a data limit on the games, which keeps developers capped at 40mb. Some people seem to be okay with this, except I honestly think it's a poor idea. Others think it's an attempt to keep players from filling up their storage too fast. I would rather have Nintendo release this cap and offer hard drives to people who would like to have a much bigger library. 40mb can good games...but I can see it becoming a problem. What happens when a developer gets 75% completed and finds out that the project is almost double of what it should be? Just pitch it? Start over? Models, textures, etc are becoming advanced these days...and I don't believe Nintendo should limit developers. The Pokemon farm game looks pretty neat though.

Endless Ocean
Well, I've been looking into this game quite a bit lately. The concept of this game is very straight forward. You travel around the world searching for the best spots to dive. You interact with wild-life, along with others who are on the dive with you. (Wi-fi) Obviously, this could end up being an extremely boring title...however, I think Nintendo is up to the task of making this a great game. I almost get the same feeling when I think about this, as I do when I first played Ecco the Dolphin. It is planned for release in January of 2008. Check out the video. Seems so calm!!!!

Games Added | 11-11-07
Here's the latest games added to the arcade. Some very nice ones, IMO. [Arcade Style]
- Balloon Park: This is actually a pretty neat game. Basically, you have to make the pipes connect from the helium tank to the balloons...to send the kids off into the air.
- BeJeweled: A classic strategic arcade game where you match 3 or more jewels in a row to score points.
- StarFrosch: You move your frog around the level to collect stars. Avoid hitting the flowers!! [Nintendo]
- Super Flash Mario Brothers: Another installment of Super Mario Brothers. A pretty well put together game...
- Pokeball Blitz: This game is pretty nice. You use pokeballs to knock down the corresponding blocks. It's described as "Tetris mixed with Bust-A-Move."
- Marble Mayhem: A nice remake of the classic Nintendo hit. Move your marble around to collect things for points, all while avoiding enemies. Try not to fall off, either! [Sports]
- GMax Skatboarding: This is a pretty fun game. Learn to master tricks as you gain points on several half-pipe tracks. Get the 1080! =)
This should keep you satisfied... You can discuss the games by visiting this thread.

Check Mii Out... is OUT!
Hey all, I'm happy to announce that Nintendo, just as promised, has released the "Check Mii Out" channel just today. I downloaded a Channel and so far, it doesn't look as bad as many people pictured it. It only takes 90 blocks out of your memory and hey, 1 more box to fill in your Wii Menu!
Once you have downloaded and turn in to your new channel, you'll be prompted to read a bunch of obvious stuff (ex: don't use personal info, blah, blah, blah). In the channel, there's 2 sections, the "Posting Plaza" and "Contests". In the posting plaza you're able to see the most popular Miis users around the world (or just America if you set it that way) have created. I managed to find from Captain Falcon to F-Zero, from Michael Jackson to Chicken Little and a whole bunch of popular Miis you can think of. The disappointment is that you can only put the "initials" of that Mii within 2 letters (ex: Michael Jackson = M.J.) so unless you know the character really well, you will never be able to see their name. Once again "for the safety of your kids". Of course you can submit your own Miis, however, those Miis would HAVE to be created in your Wii because the channel won't allow you to enter a Mii recieved from someone else.
In the contest section, is just like the section sounds like, to do "contests". So far, the first contest is to create a Mii of "Mario without his cap". Since I'm extremely lazy and obviously not interested in doing that sort of thing, I won't do it but I'm sure another million Wii owners will just out of boredom... Unless you have a godly Mario, you would never win =P (hey, is the truth >_>). Then again, the winner will be decided by other Wii owners by "judging" the Miis. Well, hope you enjoy the "Check Mii Out" channel if you're a Wii owner and plan to download it ^_^.
Here's a video from one of our affiliates (http://nintendoeverything.com):
I have added some more features here at NSider Evolution. The first one is our own Top Sites list. Let me explain exactly what this means to you. The point of this feature is for webmasters to add their website to the list in order to gain traffic to their own page. It can be a forum, personal site, anything you want! The only terms is that it must be Nintendo related or gaming related in general. Once the webmaster has added their site, they add a button to their page which members can vote for. The more votes they get, the higher up on the top site list they will be. It may not seem like much now, but once the site gets going it's a great way to find other Nintendo information as well as gain traffic to and from websites. Members of NSider EVO can also add their website so that visitors can see a link and banner. You can view the top site page by clicking on the appropriate link in the main menu.
--------------------------------------- 11-9-07 @ 8:00PM Central | Member gallery has been added, go ahead and test it out!
The next thing I have added is an image gallery. This will allow you to store your photo's here at NSider EVO in nice and neat albums. I have it installed, although I have not enabled it yet, due to the fact that I'm waiting for a directory for an entry in a configuration file. It's basically software that lets you do simple but easy manipulations to your images. Once I have that entry filled, I will enable and test the image gallery to make sure everything is working. I will give you further updates on that as we go. Questions and comments can be posted here. Have a good one. ^_^
November 7, 2007 - Back on Game Boy Advance there was an amazing obsession with pocket first-person shooters. 3D environments were no easy task on the hardware, with most efforts resorting to classic raycasting engines circa Doom and Wolfenstein, but for some reason that development bug ran wild for a few glorious years of low frame, low res FPS goodness. For whatever reason though, pocket FPS development has slowed down considerably since the release of the Nintendo DS, with only the mediocre Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, impressive first-party Metroid Prime Hunters, and recently released survival horror Dementium: The Ward.
With Call of Duty fever kicking in again, however, Activision decided it was time to bring the franchise to gamers on the go, and solicited the help of developer n-Space (GCN Geist) to shrink the series down to pocket size. For the most part you're getting an experience that feels like a smaller outing of the full-fledged Call of Duty 4 design, as you'll follow the same SAS crew though very similar missions, make use of the same type of gadgets and weaponry, and experience the same "in the heat of the battle" feelings you get on the consoles; just on a much smaller scale. Call of Duty 4 DS makes use of fully-modeled environments, but also falls back to 2D for very minor sections including iron sight gun models (basically your aim mode), and storyboard cut scenes.
We here at Nsider Evolution will be holding an exclusive, and maybe even weekly tournament via brawls internet feature!
This will rule once its up and there may even be a medal awarded to the best of the best!
Then we might even have a tournament that will happen every three months, and only include those that have been good enough to win 3 medals and see who the true brawler is! This final tournament will hold a medal to prove that you are the best of all not just the best of the best, but the best of the best’s best! =) So check out this place to post your comments and vote to see if this truly is a great idea!
[Pet System] I've added another feature to our web site, and that is a pet system. You've probably already noticed the new link in the main forum links area, so check it out. Basically, this is how it works: You make posts in order to earn pet points. With these points you are able to purchase a pet of your choice. Once you purchase the pet, you have to take care and make sure it stays alive. You are able to see how old your pet is, as well as the health and condition of the animal. You have to keep the area clean, buy food, etc...which will in turn let your pet evolve. Some of the other quick featuers:
View the pet owners list
Sell your pet
Take your pet to the vet
Have an evolving pet (Where pokemon comes into play...)
Visit the pet store to buy products for your creature
Should we add Pokemon?? I think that would be pretty cool. Right now I'm trying to find out exactly why it says I don't have enough to buy a pet, but I will get back to you once I figure it out. Basically it's a pet that you must take care of in order for it to survive. Go ahead and check it out... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Mood Mod] I have also installed another mod which lets you set your mood. I think it's pretty good, and I think the long hours of editing code is really starting to pay off. This mood mod is optional, so you don't have to use it if you don't want to. Personally, I really like it, but we really want you to let us know what you think!! Please visit the forum topic and let us know if you like, dislike? You can visit the discussion by clicking here. We also are in discussion of how much content is author information seen in topic posts. Once again, I really like it. I did this to let members really express themselves here on NSider Evolution. It is a lot of information, and I can take out some of the spaces, but some of the things are optional which can reduce space. We are also thinking of taking things out like the Wii numbers, etc. My vote, if anything is to just remove the Wii numbers from showing during posts. Once we have a lot of members here I think it will be very interesting to really get to know more about each other. Leave your comments in the forums if you get a chance. I always encourage well, thought out posts, which would make the post look complete anyway. Anyhow, that is all for now.
